Brebeuf Community Prayer and Petitions:
Jesus guide us in this second semester that we may do your will. Jesus we pray for all the young people in our community that our suffering physically, emotionally and spiritually that they may find your everlasting healing. All may submit their prayers and petitions by recording them on a slip found on the table outside the Chapel. Please indicate whether you would like this intention to be prayed for privately (at the Morning Liturgy of the Word ) or publicly (at the Morning Liturgy of the Word and be posted on the Youth Ministry website.)

The Liturgical Calendar As defined by the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Liturgical Year is "The celebration throughout the year of the mysteries of the Lord's birth, life, death, and Resurrection in such a way that the entire year becomes a 'year of the Lord's grace'. Thus the cycle of the liturgical year and the great feasts constitute the basic rhythm of the Christian's life of prayer, with its focal point at Easter" (ยง1168).
